Once you have ordered your stocking(s) and paid using PayPal, I will need you to email me at aimee@customchristmasstockings.ca for your choices in the following categories:

Size & Colour

To come up with your one-of-a-kind stocking designs, first you need to decide what size and colour you want. I currently make them in regular 19” or oversized 28” sizes (measures are taken diagonally from upper left corner of the cuff to the end of the toe). You can choose red, burgundy, green, or navy with either a white or cream cuff. They are sewn with a coordinating metallic trim.

Please let me know what name you would like on the cuff. I can either do hand-cut felt letter or cursive hand-embroidery in your choice of black or the stocking colour. If you have something else in mind, please let me know and I’ll see if I can accommodate.

I ask for a list of 3 -5 things that you might want depicted on your stocking like hobbies, sports, profession, favourite things, favourite teams, etc.. or whatever else you have in mind for each person.

I would then send you back a description of what I would do on a stocking to reflect 2-3 of those things (for a regular size, 4 items for an oversized) as well as pictures I would use as a reference. I could fit a 4th image on there but would need to reduce the size of the other images and it would have to be less detailed.

From there, we would tweak it from what you like and don't like. For babies and small children, you could have a Christmassy theme (as they don't have real hobbies yet) or we can come up with something else like: meaning of the name (e.g. Sarah means "princess" so I would do a tiara or theme the whole stocking that way), any early interests (e.g. family pets, music, books, trucks, etc), or anything you want. I'm normally pretty good for ideas so if you need help figuring out what you are going for, I can help!
